Privacy Policy
Last updated July 12, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information PayInvoix, Inc. (“PayInvoix,” “we,” “us”) collects when you use our invoicing platform, why we collect it, and the choices you have. By using PayInvoix you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Account information — your name, email address, business name, and password (stored only as a secure hash).
- Business data you enter — clients, invoices, estimates, items, and payment records you create in the app.
- Payment information — subscription and invoice payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers; we store only Stripe identifiers and billing status.
- Usage data — basic technical information (browser, device, IP address, pages visited) used to keep the service secure and reliable.
How we use your information
- To provide the service: create and send invoices, process payments, and deliver reminders and receipts by email.
- To operate your account, including billing for paid plans.
- To secure the platform, prevent abuse, and comply with the law.
- To improve PayInvoix and provide support when you contact us.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers that make PayInvoix work, under contract and only as needed:
- Supabase — database and authentication hosting.
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Resend — sending transactional email on your behalf.
- Vercel — application hosting.
- Anthropic — powering the Lily assistant, when you use it.
Your data and your clients' data
When you send an invoice, the recipient's email and the invoice details are processed so the invoice can be delivered and paid. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to contact your clients. Public invoice pay links use a random, unguessable token and are not indexed.
Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain records to meet legal, tax, or accounting obligations.
Your choices
- Access, correct, or export the data in your account at any time from within the app.
- Delete your account, which removes your business data as described above.
- Opt out of non-essential email; transactional emails tied to your account and invoices are required to run the service.
Security
We protect your data with encryption in transit, row-level access controls that isolate each account's data, and verified payment webhooks. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to notify you of material incidents as required by law.
