Terms of Service

Last updated July 12, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of PayInvoix, provided by PayInvoix, Inc. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Your account

You must provide accurate information and are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to use PayInvoix to:

  • Send spam, fraudulent invoices, or bill people without a genuine business relationship.
  • Break the law, infringe others' rights, or violate Stripe's or our providers' rules.
  • Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service or other accounts.

You are solely responsible for the invoices, amounts, taxes, and communications you create and send through PayInvoix.

3. Plans, billing, and trials

  • The Free plan is free and limited (currently up to 10 invoices per month and 3 clients). Paid plans (Pro and Business) unlock additional features.
  • Paid plans may include a free trial. You will not be charged during the trial, and you can cancel before it ends.
  • Paid subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel anytime from the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
  • Prices may change; we will give reasonable notice before a change affects you.

4. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe and subject to Stripe's terms. When your clients pay an invoice online, funds are handled through the connected payment processing; PayInvoix is not a bank and does not provide financial or tax advice.

5. The Lily assistant

Lily provides AI-generated suggestions and explanations. It can make mistakes — always double-check important numbers and text before relying on or sending them. You are responsible for anything you send.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the data and content you put into PayInvoix. You grant us the limited rights needed to host and operate the service for you (for example, to store your invoices and deliver them to your clients).

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep PayInvoix available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may update, add, or remove features, and we may update these Terms; we will give notice of material changes.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, PayInvoix is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using PayInvoix and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the law.
